Procedure

Immediately after the publications of the H.S. or equivalent results admission forms are issued to the prospective candidate. Admissions are made on the basis of merit in conformity with the selection rule of the University of Burdwan. Full transparency is maintained in this regard.

The admission procedure is as follows :-

1) Prospecus and admission forms can be btained on production of the original marksheet.

2) In case of honours, marks in the proposed honours subjects should be above 45% in H.S. or equivalent examination.

3) All application forms duly filled in are to be submitted by the time and date as notified on the college notice board.

4) Filled up forms are arranged in order of merit considering both the marks of aggregrate and the subject in whch honours is sought.

5) The admission is made on the spot through counselling.

6) Seats are reserved for SC, ST and OBC candidate as per Government rule

7) Change of the combination subject can be made within a month following the date of admission. After the lapse of the stipulated period such request of the candidate will not be entertained.
